nye california grill

has anyone been to California Grill on New Years Eve ? Its very expensive, just booked so I hope its worth it ???

We go to the CG most years (Xmas Eve last time). It has a great atmosphere and a wonderful view over the parks (especially last time, with the most amazing sunset, beautiful colours, and of course, guess who forgot his camera?!!). If you go during Fantasmic, then the music is piped in and you have a birds eye view, or pop out onto one of the viewing decks from the restaurant - the servers are very accomodating.

Food is of high standard as are the wines (though expensive - aren't all wines in US!!??). Service is great and, yes, it is a bit more than your standard restaurant, but no more than Brown Derby or Citrico's, for example, and well worth it.

I am too thinking of booking this for NYE as it is the only adr with a view of fireworks available, can anyone tell me the dress code and also we have a 2 year old with us, he is usually very well behaved but is this an appropriate place for him or will we get funny looks?
