right i want to know the best place to go and when in your hol would you do it? i am thinking of the 1st morning is that a good/bad idea?
thanks
ian
Hi Ian - we're planning on doing a character brekky on the first day as we were up really early last time on our first day.
We haven't done any character breakfasts before, but are going to do Cape May's after the recommendations I got on here. Sure whichever you decide on you'll have a great time:jump:

which characters do you want to see?
Also, do you know which restaurants your voucher is good for, they seem to be changing the list frequently, so I am a little out of touch at the moment

I can also recommend Cape May's, we've been there twice and it's excellent. They serve every thing from cereals, toast, full cooked to donuts and waffles and more. When we were there the characters were Minnie, Chip and Dale, Goofy and Donald, we've been to others but this was the best.

just looked on their site at the ticket and at the moment it is for these restaurants...
Character Breakfast is available at Garden Grill at EPCOT, Restaurantaurus at Disney's Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood and Vine at Disney-MGM studios
which of these would you choose? also when i phone to book a PS will they know what my options are and tell me if i am not allowed the place i want?

well, hollywood and vine is now closed, so I would suggest Garden Grill, but we have also eated at Restaurantosaurus and it was very good too.
Garden Grill is in 'The Land' at Epcot and it is a revolving restaurant. I think you meet Farmer Mickey, Chip n Dale and either Pluto or Goofy
at Restaurantosaurus you get to meet Donald Duck, who is very elusive, so if you are a Donald fan, then that might influence your decision. Also there is Mickey, Goofy and one or two others, but I'm not sure who. Here they are dressed as boy scouts.

Unfortunatly it seems impossible to get a straight answer on which restaurants are included until you actually get a voucher, because everyone seems to have a different list.

Of those, Chef Mickeys has the best reputation, but we found it very very busy, so I would suggest an off-peak time if you went there.
I haven't tried Cape May but it gets good reviews too, and Minnie is there (one of my favorites)
1900 Park Fare has Pooh I think, and sometimes Mary Poppins, seems a bit of a strange combinatoin to me, but it's a nice restaurant and fun to check out the Grand Floridian
and I have heard good things about Ohana;s too, but haven't been for breakfast.

Hi all
well i can recommend Restaurantaurus at Disney's Animal Kingdom we had ours there last week and an excellent meal it was too. The caracters were Mickey, Goofey, Donald and Pluto.
