Hi,
We will be returning to Orlando in 2008 and cant wait to visit some of the places where we used to dine out. We always eat at the Ponderosa and Sizzlers restaurants at the junction of 192 and Old Lake Wilson Rd and I would be interested to know if any people have tried these places recently and what you thought of the food/service.

We went to the Sizzlers in the Crossroads area...its past DTD on your left and turn left at the T junction lights, as you go out of the WDW gates - we think this one seems to be less busy and better than some of the Sizzlers that are more in the 'thick of it'.

We always used to eat at Ponderosa until we discovered the golden corral. It is like ponderosa except with all you can eat steak, chicken etc!! Would wholeheartedly recommend it! I think its still only around $10, but then i did last go 3 years ago!

This one is quite close: http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?&addr=7702 W. IRLO BRONSON HWY.&csz=KISSIMMEE,FL&country=us

I am not a lover of the buffet style meals. went to the golden corral on i drive about 5 years ago. The place was dirty, tables not cleared and just mounds of uneaten food wherever you looked. It kind of put me off for life but lots of people seem to enjoy it.
We have been to sizzler a few times and just visited the one on the 192 (close to sherbeth road) last month and it was lovely. Its really each to their own when it comes to eating out. At least we are all spoilt for choice in Orlando.

We adore these bargain buffets! :spin:
We tend to like ponderosa for brekkie and golden corral for dinner ...preferably not in the same day though! lol :D :D That would just be plain greedy and VERY unlike us... *sarcastic cough*

We went sizzlers once i think but sadly didnt quite enjoy it as much, perhaps it was just that location!?

Im aware the food isnt 5* but everyone can choose exactly what and best of all...how much they want to eat! I think they are a great idea if you just want a quick and easy (but still yummy) meal :)

For us it's Sizzlers for brekkie. Tried a few restaurants for buffet brekkie and Sizzlers is about the best imho
