The salads are yummy too, you can design your own - you cant beat an Earl of S/wich, or Earl of Butty as I like to call it.

Absolutly hated it, had the beef sandwich and it wasn't cooked in the middle, it was all red and yucky, nearly made me sick, had to throw it away, never will go there again. DH had the turkey though and he enjoyed his.

Perhaps it was like that as in the US they like their beef/steak rare, I'll not get that one next time.

I really like their breakfast sandwich - the egg, bacon and cheese one.

Love it!!!!! we went loads last time and even tho we were at pop century i would catch the bus over to DTD, get our sandwiches and then catch the bus back and they would still be hot! I always got the kids pizza sandwich which was lovely and a bonus of being cheaper, the tomato soup is to die for and so is the raisin and oat cookie :tounge: . Oh but the tea lemonade is gross.

We love it! We go there for a mid morning sandwich and coffee the first morning we arrive. I love the Beef and Bleu, DH has the Full Montagu, and the kids love the pizza sandwich or tuna melt. The great thing about it is you can omit any ingredients you dont want (ie DH always has his with no mustard). I'm sure you could ask for the beef to be well done,if thats the way you like it,they are very accommodating everywhere over there. :D

Sorry, but that is how I would expect my beef to be. When I cook it it is red in the middle and when I buy beef it is red too. Most chefs cook it like that too.I tried the Beef and Blue and it was amazing. It all boils down to personal preference but when I dont see red I dont buy or eat.

The Earl of Sandwich is consistently good and serves wonderful sandwiches. The reviews are always great. Try it! Apart from Wolfgang Puck Express and Seasons at Epcot, it is the best CS venue IMHO.

The Beef n' Bleu was very nice, DW had the Capricosi (sp?) which she liked as well. Made a nice change from Subway.

If the Earl of Sandwich was my culinary highlight of a trip i'd have been dissapointed, but that's not doing it down in anyway it is a good sandwich shop.

hi Debbie

It's fast food really, so if you are shopping in DTD you can pop in for a really quick lunch or brekkie. Have a wonderful time.

Are you like me? I take the longest to choose from the menu and then spend my entire meal wishing I had chosen what other people have!!! :pgig:

Best sandwiches ever imo! Not a great fan of Subway etc but if Earl opened in my area, I'd be in every day!

I have to know what everyone else is having before I make my choice :)

And if there is more than one thing on the menu that I want I will try to "influence" my DH to order one of them

Yeah, it's not bad but I wouldn't go overboard about it, Ds's had cannonball Sub and BLT which were bery good, DW had a Chinese Chicken salad which was lovely and I had a mediterranean Tuna salad, but it was too " sharp" - Vinigery, and didn't enjoy it at all.

Also two out of the three Sprite Soda fountains tasted " foisty", you know that horrible taste you can get with pre bagged salad etc.

Will go again next time tho.

we like earl of sandwich, but are both quite fussy eaters so ask for no mustard/mayo/onions etc. twice we have waited a while for our order to be made, only to find the things we ask to be left out, included. they did make others for us once, but the other time we got sarnies and left so couldn't change them.

i know these kind of mistakes are made everywhere, but in two weeks this was the only place we had this problem. would still go back cos enjoyed the food.
next time we'll just double check before leaving.
