Am looking at doing a Winter Wonderland tour in Canada next year, which includes going on the train from Toronto to Vancouver on board the Canadian and was wondering if anybody has done the trip. I've had a look at the VIA Rail website and the rooms look a tad bit small! :omg: but it looks a fab trip to do

Looking to go in December, so shall pack my thermals!! Spend 4 nights in Jasper where we get to do ice walking around the frozen rivers and waterfalls (can't wait to do that!) along with a choice of either dog sledding, snow shoe walking or going on a ski-doo!! :omg: Would be fun to put the tennis rackets on my feet and go snow shoe walking though!

We are planning Canada for 2009 (nothing like trying to be prepared!!) Friends of ours are just back and they loved it... They had a camper van and travelled all around.

The only thing they thought they would do differently if they went back would be to spend more time in each place :)
