Costco accepting American express cards

I know there was a topic about Costco on here and I can't find it and someone said that they are now accepting American express at Costco in Orlando, is this true? :wavey:

Yes we used our American Express card in Costco when we were there, i dont think they accept them here in the uk yet though.

That is brillant if they do and we use the Costco in Reading and they only accept cash/chq or debit card.It is a shame they don't maybe they will. :thumbs-up

Costco in the US have taken Amex credit cards for at least 4 years. They do a costco amex card, which is probably why they allow it . I have used an amex card on a few occasions there.
In the UK, it is still debit cards only. They do not have a Amex deal.

We also used amex when we were there in 2003. Glad to hear they are continuing that policy . Pity they haven't allowed their use here, just think of all that cashback we are all missing. ;)
