vegas or orlando

sister getting married in vegas next august but was planning to go to orlando next september should i miss the wedding and stick to my plans with my children and grandchildren i want to go to the wedding but 2 trips within 1 month dh could not close the buisness down :( :(

I´d stick to your plans to go with your kids and grand kids to orlando, unless that is something you do on a regular basis.

Any chance you could combine those trips into a Vegas/Los Angeles trip maybe? That way you could still do Disney.

i think the vegas/los angeles is a great idea, we are talking about doing that in the next couple of years. but alternatively, go to vegas maybe for 3 nights then hop back over to orlando for the remaining 10 nights?
if you're not into the twin centre thing, wish your sis the best of luck and go to florida with your family as planned

Can you bring the holiday forward and go to Vegas then meet the family in Orlando ? If not i would personally stick to the original plan . Especially as you had that planned before the wedding .

this is somthing we are hoping to do one year but i would combine it if it was not august as the thought of orlando in school holidays is something i dont want to do we went christmas time one year and it was so busy i would not do it at holiday times again

Well I have to say. I love Orlando but Vegas is pretty amazing if you've never been. Can't you do a week in each?

I would spend a couple of nights in Vegas and then get an internal flight over to WDW !

That is what we are doing in January 2008. Three nights in Vegas for our Wedding and then off to WDW for our Honeymoon. :grin:

I was going to suggest the same. We're doing 3 weeks on the west coast next year but were/are seriously thinking about including New York in it too as the internal flight prices are pretty good.
