can anyone tell me what sort of things target sell i have heard many people on here talk about it been to many shops but never there we always go to walmart so is it like walmart :erm:
Yes its a bit like Walmart but I dont think its as cheap, nor do they have the selection that Walmart has. We always get the weekly ad and see what offers they have. We at least visit once or twice while we are there.

We really like Target, we have always found their childrens clothes to be really good quality and value, overall it's a nicer shop than walmart, cleaner, smarter and better quality, they also have a really good food area. I 've even been known to buy clothes for myself here so we generally always visit this shop several times.

Hi i really like Target (especially the super target on the 17 - orange blossom) there is not as much selection as walmart, but i think the clothing is better (weired they do cherokee - tesco) whereas walmart do george!! I went today to buy wild hogs on DVD and walmart wanted 19.99 whereas target 16.99
hope this helps

Target is nicer than Tesco!
It's a bit like Walmart but nicer, Walmart feels bargain basement, but Target is a bit more upmarket. I much prefer it, the clothes seem nicer quality, they do nice things for the house, bedding etc, lovely furniture that I couldn't possibly bring home but would love too, craft stuff - all sorts.
We will visit both, but I am definitely a Target girl.

Got to agree, love Target staff seem much friendlier, may cost a little more would have said it was more like Sainsburys than Tesco in atmosphere and quality.
Clothes are good as well but got to say bought 2 $3.99 t shirts from Walmart (DW said we weren't doing any more washing in the last few days) and they are great value, still look better than my Gap T-shirts I bought on the same trip.

Target, from a resident standpoint, is much better than Walmart. I have a Walmart 2 blocks from my home and I drive 15 minutes to go to a Target. They are much more organized, cleaner and offer great variety.
Target in no way (my opinion) is like Tesco's. The only thing I would say is similar is that they have the Cherokee brand in their clothing department.
I think the comparison to size/selection can vary because most of holiday goers are visiting the Walmart Super Centers and some are visiting standard Targets and not their Super Center. The Target next door to the Florida Mall is very small so that comparison would be true in regards to not as big of selection.
As for No. 7 products Target and CVS have teamed up with Boots and are stocking their product. I've been checking the stores as I go in them and most of them now have their stock. I will say that I've seen it more in Target than CVS.

We also prefer Target to Walmart in general. Swings 'n roundabouts really in respect of prices but Target has the edge for a more relaxed shopping experience.
We have on previous trips favoured the Super Target near Mall at Milennia - but when programming the Sat Nav recently I noticed there is one on the 192 near to Vineland Rd. Don't know why we haven't come across that one before. Will probably favour that one as it is closer to the villa.

Another vote for Target here. The Super Target on the 192 is exactly the same as the one near Mall at Millenia and very similar to the on i think Orange Blossom/John Young.A much nicer place to shop than Walmart.
I always expain them as
Asda - Walmart
Tesco extra- Super Target (Tesco-Target for small stores)
Sainsburys-Publix/Goodings
Kwik Save/Aldi/Netto-Winn Dixie/Albertsons/ ???
