Last time I went to Maine we went to an Armish Smorgasbord Restuarant which was fantastic. The food was great, the price was very reasonable and you could eat as much as you like.
The choice was phenomenal!
Does anyone know if there are any similar restuarants near Disney?

Smorgasboard is a Pennsylvania Dutch word for buffet. (actually, I think it's scandinavian)
There are 100's of buffet type places in Orlando, but I don't know of any that are actually billed as a smorgasbord.
Amish / PA Dutch food is of a particular style which you probably won't find in Orlando, but you will certainly be able to find a buffet. Disney itself has loads of meals which are served this way. off site, Ponderosa is one of the more well known, for about $10 you can eat as much as you like of an enormous buffet - the one at the top of I-drive was the biggest thign I have ever seen (although the restaurant was also enormous which I didn't really like because it was noisy).

Sizzler is similiar but a bit more upmarket. I have heard good things about Golden Corral but we haven't been yet. Also there are some seafood buffets which get good reviews, but again I haven't been.

Thanks Bev

I'll look out for the ones mentioned next May! Hopefully this should cater for all tastes! :wink

I can vouch for Sizzler being nice with a good selection and Golden Coral is excellent value for money. The buffet now includes all you can eat steak which put a smile on Nics face.
