Feeling very sad....Hurricane Dean has battered the little port of Costa Maya, apparently this area has taken a full hit at Cat 5 :omg:
We are due there next year & I'v been excitidely looking up all about it so am now feeling very sorry for everyone there.
Costa Maya is a 'manmade' port just for tourists, the rest of the area is quite poor, so they rely on the cruise ships trade......With the port almost certainly gone, they will struggle to get back on their feet.
Makes me want to cry as it really does look such a lovely port of call.
Just hope & prey that there are no fatalities xx
