busch garden ride rehabs?

Hi everyone, first time on here.

Doing the Orlando thing in 3 days time!

Anybody Know of any ride closures during Sept. at Busch Gardens
Can't find anything on their web site?

Went 4 years ago Montu was closed, mighty peeved!

Great looking Site, could have done with this years ago.

www.buschgardens.com - go to the Tampa site, then click on the "contact us" email address. Ask them for details of any rehabs during the dates of your stay. They got back to me with my request within 36 hours.

Sadly 2 of our fave BG attractions are down in October when we're over there:( :rolleyes:

what rides are they? do you know what date they close? it is going to be everones first trip there so will be a pity to miss out on 2 rides! :(

Hi Ian - this is the text from the email I received from BG:

"Scorpion, Bumper Cars and Akbar will be down for scheduled maintenance. All of our major attractions will be open."

This was following on from the email I sent asking what would be down for our scheduled trip on 16/17 October.

This is the link to the guy who sent the above - ask him with your dates: John.H.Campbell@BuschGardens.com (he's in guest relations).

As you can see, we're not into the big coasters (well I am, but DH and DD aren't:rolleyes: ), but I'm sad to say Akbar's was one of the first ever simulator rides I went on years ago and it's my personal favourite:blush: Scorpion was my DDs first coaster (she's now planning to try Dueling Dragons this year, yippee) so their our sentimental rides, really and we're very disappointed neither are open.

Oh well, just gives us more time to try something different this year:D

thanks for that i have sent them a email for our dates as we are going the 2 weeks before that but if that is all that is out then it wont be too bad
