:D  Here's one to really consider carefully! What is your favorite moment ever at Disney World? I know it must be tough to decide among tons of great times, but what was that one truly special moment that tops the list?

I'm thinking it probably has to be the very first time we walked through those gates - though to be honest, every time feels like the first.

Give me time I'm sure I can think of others. :)

The first time our sons went they were very young (they are now 16 & 15!!) We queued an hour and a quarter for them to meet Mickey Mouse in his house at Mickey`s Toontown Fair. The waiting was more than worth it. They were so happy and excited to meet Mickey and have their photo taken with him and seeing their little faces so animated made me cry!! :-)

I've lots of ghushy moments lol but my 'favourite' moment ever has to be my last trip this May just gone with my parents (their last ever trip).

We arrived at the Boardwalk and were taken aback with it's beauty, on check-in, the cast member addressed my mum and dad and said 'Mr and Mrs X, welcome back to Disney, we've given you a complimentary upgrade to a 'special' Boardwalk view room'.

My parents' faces were a picture, and this was a trip they will never forget :)

i think the year of mickeys birthday, when mickeys toon town was first opened, it was called mickeys birthday land. dh and i were sitting having a rest and ds (11yrs) came back with three mickey birthday cakes, large fairy cake type buns with a candle on top, which he triumphantly lit, as a thankyou present for all the times we had saved and taken him to disney. i am afraid i wept openly :(

Definately when DD, 9 at the time met Cruella her all time favourite character.
There was no line for photos when DD spotted her, so DD runs as fast as her wee legs would carry her and throws her arm around Cruella shouting "i love you, i love you"! Cruella gave her this sneery look and replied "get your grubby little hands off my coat" :pgig:
DD was truly mortified and didnt know what to do or say......but we have a great photo of the 2 of them. I have the photo on our kitchen wall and it makes me smile every time i look at it.

So many but i think it has to be standing with my family watching "wishes" and looking around at everyone just staring open-mouthed to the sky....the music is soo emotional! At that moment you just don't have a worry in the world... :)

my favorite moment i will always remember was last year, and everyone was crying out of epcot (all 8 of us) as it was our last day and we had just watched the emotional firework show, we stopped at a shop to pick up our photographs and a CM was waiting at the door. my sis was still crying and she asked why, my sis said "because i dont want to go home" and then the CM started to make her feel better asking her about her holiday and what we got up to. after a while she pulled out a dreams come true pin for her to keep, and to wear when "she came back to visit" florida :)

just shows how much the CM care and want to make you're trip magical, even on the last day.

our most memeroble moment was being chosen to open the magic kingdom on our first ever visit to disney world,we were taken into the park and driven to toontown station where we were greeted by alice and a host of disney characters lots of photos and autographs, then the train arrived with minnie, mickey, donald, goofy, chip n dale to name a few, more photos and autographs . then we all boarded the train to main street station declared the park open and sprinkled the pixie dust then had a free photo with all the characters making me  just thinking about it, magical experience.doubt it will be beaten on upcoming trip one can only dream   .

Ours has to be the first time we went, not really knowing what to expect, awaiting the 3pm. parade.

From the very first few notes of 'Time to Remember the Magic' (25 Years of Disney Magic), I had shivers running through my whole body to this immensley uplifting, carefree, innocent and joyous music, it couldn't help but bring a tear to my eye. I knew we would come back year after year.....and we have, awaiting our 8th visit in 10 years this December. I certainly remember the magic!!

I think one of my favourite moments happened whilst waiting for Wishes to start last year! We were sitting infront of the train station and DD was amongst a group of children playing ball with some of the CM's! They then asked the children to grab a parent! I hate anything like this and tried to get out of it, but DD insisted! Anyway we all had to stand in a circle, slowly lift our arms in the air and clap! As we clapped all the lights went out, ready for Wishes to start! It was a truly special moment and made me cry!
My other favourite moment would be the first time we ever saw the MK Parade and DD was asked to dance with the Princesses! I cried buckets!

As I had been before 4 times with parents many years ago, walking thorugh the gates was like I had never been away, however this year I went with Dh who had never been before. sitting watching the parade start and seeing Mickey go past infront of the castle was the most magical WDW moment our holiday. We had a great view sitting infront of the castle at the roundabout. I was singing along to the music and dh was laughing at me saying I was a big kid.

My favourtest moment ever was the look on my DH2Bs face when he saw Pooh for the first time. He loves everything pooh and will even watch it on telly so to see him in the flesh was very magical for him and for me to watch.

Mine has to be first time we went in 2004, watching DD, then 3, watch the live show in front of the castle. She was completely mesmorised and I (silently) cried buckets!!! It was the most fantastic moment (and to be honest I'm filling up again now...........)

a real difficult one as there are so many....... i will put a couple that stand out, but sure DW will add to it later.........

on first visit in 92. DD1 , Becky, had been diagnosed an insulin dependant diabetic about a year before, she had a Dumbo that she took everywhere with her. On that vist Becky got to ride Dumbo with her Mum, the look of joy on Becky's face was unforgetable as where the tears in her Mums eyes.
also on same trip. at BBQ, DD2 sitting on her late granma's knee holding 4 fingers up to Goofy to say it was her 4th birthday and Goofy returning the signal, brilliant.

Oh, and the look on DW face when getting a hug from Pooh.

Glad I'm not the only one who wells up at Disney. I've had so many magical moments I can't pick one out.

I loved celebrating my 35th wedding anniversary at Boma when the server brought out a beautifully iced cake for us to enjoy. What a thrill.

BUT I'm hoping my best magical moment happens December 7th when we celebrate a much beloved grandson's 2nd birthday at MK. He's already hyped up - the mantra is - plane - sky - Mickey - poohbear - tigger - etc.

I just can't wait!
