Well with just a week till we head off, I just wondered if there are any more tips from those who have recently returned?

Don't forget to book your next cruise while you are on board, to get the exclusive booking on board discount...I wish we had. :blush:

You don't even need to have a specific future cruise date at this stage.....and you can always get you deposit back (up to the specified time limits)if you change your mind.

Terms can vary; but usually $250pp for a 7 night cruise, and $200pp for a 3/4 night cruise.

This will get you a 10% discount.... plus a $200 on board credit for a 7 night cruise, and $100 on board credit for a 3/4 night cruise. On board credits are per booking, not per person.
You can add these to any other OBC that you recieve, if transfering to a TA at a later date.

Note : you will only be offered these terms when on board the ship, during your cruise...once you have left the ship you cannot claim these terms again.

I think I will definitely be booking again whilst onboard. I really fancy a Med cruise, but they are not out yet. So I will be booking and then changing when the Med ones come out.

I think around Jan 09 will be announcement?? and This year Med Cruise was superb and I am definetly book it again as it will be Northern Europe so finger cross and I hope it will be as not Hawaii as many people at Castaway Club - They had vote for Hawaii but Captain Tom had mentioned that it might be Northern Europe.

My tip is to get onto the ship asap..Its great to wander around & get your bearings before everyone's on board & remember your swimmies in your 'hand' luggage for a 'dip' whilst pools are quiet(You wont get your cases until late afternoon !)
Also..head up to Parrot Cay for a yummy lunch (Before 3pm i seem to remember!)

Don't buy the refillable beer mugs. They are a pain in the neck to lug round with you all the time and they weigh a ton! IMO the savings are just not worth it!

Don't forget to stop and take it all in, it goes by so fast!! Have a wonderful time.

We took our insulated mugs from a previous trip to WDW and used them at the soda station by the pool, cos it was better than the disposable cups there. Great for the late night hot chocolate while walking the decks looking at the stars. Mind you that was Feb. you might not want hot choc if its hot!

I have a facial, pedicure and manicure for the day at sea. I am looking forward to some pampering as I do not do this enough at home. :thumbs-up
