Hey i have visited disney on a couple of occasions but i cannot remember what sort of bag to carry on me around the park! On previous occasions i have been a lot younger and did not always need a bag! Also is there any essentials that are a must to carry on you? many thanks

I dont carry a bag, I make my fiance carry everything we need......which includes: Guide book (the unofficial), glasses and sunglasses, wallet, room key and passes, ID (driving license), suntan lotion, lip balm and a hair bobble!! :) xx

I have the much maligned - but everyone has one and nobody cares over there, bumbag!!! :D
In it - I can get my camera, purse, copy of ID (laminated passport page), small suncream, tissues, sunglasses, lypsyl, emery board, a couple of plasters, small swiss army knife (lots of tools on it), some brufen, pen, room safe key, ladies "things" if needed.
All of that packs up small and sits at the side of my waist/hip, can go on most rides (except nasty Universal ones where they make you take any bag off) and you get to have both arms free. :thumbs-up

I have a Kipling one and it also has a cute little dangly monkey :pgig:

I have always taken a gymsack to hold my essentials that I can walk round like a rucksack but a small one. In it I have

camera
water bottle
purse - special orlando one (small has tickets and change in)
rain poncho depending on the days weather, park map

Plus anything DP does not want to carry

I have a rebok one that I have had for a few years and it is still going strong. Its easy to slip on and off and not as clumsy as a rucksack but carries everything I need.

I am going to try out one of those rucksacks with a built in water container. It holds 2 litres + room for sun cream, face wipes, tissues etc. We have always had a push chair in the past so carried water bottles in that. This is the first year without one, and yes I too always use a bumbag or a 'fannybag' as they call them out there. They are great for carrying stuff and safer than a rucksack for passports, money etc.

We are part of the bumbag!!! clan.
Trouble is it works so well, hands free, not to heavy and all the essential bits you need

Wasn't too sure about this myself. Have now settled on a small rutsack, just big enough for sun cream, water bottles and tickets really!

Just didn't feel I could go for the bumbag on first holiday with DBF, who is a first timer. He might be traumatised if he has to wear one :)

We always use a bumbag for tickets, camera and shades. The kids always get the complimentary bag from Virgin which we use to carry frozen bottles of water, suncream and the autograph books.

Cargo Shorts are the way to go the more pockets the better, I carry water, camera, wallet and mini bottles of suntan lotion. Also use the belt (to keep them up with the extra weight) to hold my hat when on a ride.

Bumbag for me too, I'm afraid! It's so easy to carry around and if we both wear one we can get everything in. However, will have to 'upgrade' to rucksack next time cos DS2 will still need a changing bag to carry around! :erm:
