Has anyone done the Marine Mammal Keeper Experience at SeaWorld??
My DD who is 20yrs old wants to do it(she is actually a member of the BDMLR who rescue whales etc when they become stranded up here in the noth east of Scotland) but I do not want her to be disappointed if it is not any good. So any comments would be much appreciated. :thumbs-up :thumbs-up

I've booked my DS to do this when we go in October. I told him today as its his 14th birthday and he was very excited (and surprised) and can't wait to go. He'll have to be at Seaworld for 6.30am and he is so not a morning person.

I can let you have his opinion on this in November.

My daughter did the Trainer for a Day thing when she was 15, and loved every single moment. She had just passed her padi scuba exam, so was not bothered by how cold the water is!! And it's cold! She swam with dolphins, went backstage to learn about feeding them, was allowed upclose with Shamu, but not allowed in the water. Was up close with the walrus and penguins, and absolutely loved the manatees! She's now 19, and still hoping to work with dolphins. Was worth every penny! And she's still got a crush on Joe the trainer...he was GORGEOUS!!! ;)

ps. Btw, my daughter sponsors a dolphin called Jigsaw off the coast of Scotland. She's a member of the WDCS.

Can you tell my what time the training day finishes ?

The information I've got for DS says to pick him up at 2.30 (so that's an 8 hour day). He's can stay in the park if he wishes and he gets a 7 day entry pass as well.
