Hi, do you buy your tickets here or in Orlando. Are there any good deals at the moment. Has anyone bought there tickets in Walmart is it cheaper.

I always buy mine over here as I prefer to have them in hand before I go. Also, the 14 day disney tickets are only available in the UK.
Even if you decide you'd rather have MYW tickets, I'd still buy them before you travel, then you know exactly what you have got and how much they have cost.

Universal have a good deal on their website, 7 days for $89

there are some links for comparison shopping

Buy over here especially if you want the WDW Ultimate tickets as they are not available in the US. Buying here also helps to spread the cost over a few weeks (yes I know you can save and budget).

Hi BEVS97

Never been to Disney before very confused about the whole ticket thing. :confused2
Disney seem to have done a good job on stopping you getting tickets cheap. All seem to be within a few $ of each other. Couldn't see this offer Universal 7 days for $89. Am trying Universalorlando.com. Is this right?

Thanks

there is a thread here with links to all the various ticket places (obviously there are other places to buy tickets)

the 1st link is to the Universal website, offer is $86.98 + tax

Disney ticket prices don't change drastically - Disney themselves are generally the most expensive, and you can get 14 day tickets for this year for around £150 (more for 2008).

the only other way to cut disney tix costs is to go with the Magic Your Way tickets which are sold in the USA - you can get a 10 day base ticket for around £100 - but no park hopping/water parks etc. (You can add these all on for a cost but then the savings against a 14 day ultimate are lost)

Hi
Thanks for such a quick reply

It doesn't look like that ticket includes entry to Sea World which is where Discovery Cove is? Part of the holiday for my daughter who is 10 is a swim with Dolphins Birthday present! Can we get child tickets for her as she does look only 9?

The best ticket I can find that has Sea World as part of it is Universal 4 park ticket ($195) but I am trying to see the best price to include the Dolphin swimming. If we buy from Universal with a Mastercard don't they use a bad exchange reate and is it better to buy with I think it is Nationwide card who don't include loading on exchange rate?

:erm: :confused2 So much to think about to leave enough money to shop without OH noticing too much!

Discovery Cove requires it's only seperate ticket. Once you have paid for DC then you will get a ticket to Seaworld included, but DC is NOT part of Seaworld (they are owned by the same company but you need a special DC ticket not a Seaworld ticket).

Discovery Cove costs £138 or $259. That includes 7 days access to Seaworld.

It is not included in the Universal 4 park flex ticket.

Can we get child tickets for her as she does look only 9? No.

Apart from anything else, there is no child ticket to DC.
