told RCI which credit card we'll be using and ordered a wine package. Just got to sort out what, if any at all, cruise excursions we'll be doing. So far I have made up almost an encyclopaedia of information on our ports of call so I think we'll be doing our own thing.

Four weeks on Friday until we leave for East Midlands airport.

hi i did on line with rc, gave credit card but never offered anything about wine package? what wine packages are available. how long is your cruise for. sorry to ask questions as this is the first rc i have done.

Hi Sue, here's what I did:

Logged into RCI website, clicked on Deals & Gifts tab, clicked on Shop Gifts and Gear, in the Gifts and Gear Aboard section clicked on Shop Now, scrolled down to the bottom and clicked on Wine & Dine.

Also next to the Wine & Dine thing, there is Wine Cellar which gives a list of wines available for single purchase.

Our cruise is for 13 nights and for the two of us we have chosen the 10 night Diamond Package. There are disadvantages of course but we aren't wine connoisseurs. The main advantage is that the 15% gratuity is included in the price and there are wines on the list that I enjoy - like Carmenere, Merlot and one of my favourites Pinot Noir.

thanks jan did that last night :grin: im only doing 4 night cruise this time to see if dh likes it, next year we want to do 13nights :grin: so any tips or what its like would be lovely :grin: have a great time

Sue - you're going just as we are coming home.

We're going to have the tips done automatically too but haven't found out yet how to do this online. However, it can be done when boarding the ship. This again saves making sure we've given enough and if there is anyone who deserves a bit extra, we can do that ourselves.

dont think we will be on the cruise long enough to really enjoy them but when we booked we were looking for 2 rooms next door to each other and theses came up so we thought what the heck. must admit i cant wait to go :D thou i would like to be doing yours jan for 13 nights,how many formal evenings have you got.
