Hi,thinking about this for our upcoming trip but wanted some opinions first????
There is only our 5yr old granddaughter that might enjoy it as my kids are grown up 18-30
Is it worth the extra money??As we will be doing MK anyway,is it very busy,do most people get dressed up?
Any help will be very appreciated
Thanks

Its FAB!
We did this last year and are going again this year. We were allowed into MK from 4pm and alot of people dressed up, a whole variety of costumes, not just halloween stuff!
All the park is decorated and there is a Halloween Parade, fireworks, shows, special photographs, LOADS of sweets in your candy bag which you collect all round the park, it is just an excellent atmosphere!
Definately recommended, there was me, DH, DD 11 and DS 9 last year, I am sure you will get many positive comments on this night out!

We went to MNSSHP last year and it was the best night we have ever had at Disneyworld. The Magic Kingdom is completely decked out in Halloween lights, the parade and fireworks are special Halloween ones and are really good, and the atmosphere is brilliant. When you go in you are given a trick or treat bag and by the end of the night it will be full of candy and chocolate given out by cast members all over the park. You don't have to dress up but a lot of people seem to make a big effort with there costume. In my opinion it's a definite must do, in fact we'll be there again this year on the 14th September and probably again the following week on the 21st

My teenagers really enjoyed it. We all dressed up and had a blast collecting candy and riding everything with hardly any lines. The parade and fireworks are fantastic. I'd definately do it again.

We loved it..although we were shall we say a tad overdressed!... I would post a picture but DW has sworn me to hiding the pictures of the outfits we wore as we looked so scary!!...maybe next time we will all go a little more "Disney" :)
It's a great night you'll love it...only one thing you had better like Candy! as you'll end up with BAGS of the stuff :)...will be going to WDW next October and will not miss it

We did MNSSHP two years ago with our teenage lads and thought it was great .
Last year was just DH and me and we wondered if we'd find it as much fun on own our ? Of course it was and DH kept getting quite ratty if I was given more sweets than him in our trick or treat bag !!!!
We're going again in sept and can't wait, it really is well worth the money and we have a meal in Liberty Tree before we start serious trick and treating. ( what kids we become in wdw ) :pgig: :pgig: :pgig: :pgig:

We went to MNSSHP last year and while I would say that I enjoyed it OK, I didn't think it was worth the extra cost (there were 6 of us) and I wouldn't go back again. We got into the spirt and dressed up as Wizard of Oz characters. Quite a bit of our time was spent lining up to get the candy (which we go loads of). We hardly got onto any rides and while the parade was a themed Halloween parade, the fireworks seemed to be the same as the ones we had seen earlier in the week.
What maybe spoiled it a bit for us was the fact that we'd been to Seaworld a few days before and they had a Halloween event, including trick or treating, for no extra charge. We got the same amount of candy at Seaworld for free as we did in MNSSHP.
I think it's maybe the sort of thing that you have to try and see for yourself.

I'm so tempted to do this, this year, it's something I have never been able to do before as I always go in May/June
Is it worth the $40 each?
