I was struggling to find alot of information/pictures of this as i didn't quite understand what actually happens on this. Think it's a multi-person ride though :)
If you find anything would you please share it? :spin:

OMG that looks far too scary for me. The water ride that put me off was called something like "The Storm" You go down an enclosed slide and then us go round and round until you fall down into a very deep pool at the bottom. I hated it & now don't do water rides by myself. I was going around backwards and then fell head first into the pool.
great for Thirll seekers!!!

I went in one like that in Butlins, fell in the water on the side of my head, impacted all water in my ear and I got an ear infection and was really sick, and couldn't sing at a gig I was ment to be doing for college.
My ear has not been the same since.

Just back from Orlando this week and did the Brain Wash. Excellent. It can take a four person tube and you go down an enclosed twisting tunnel with flashing lights inside. Then you come out inside a huge funnel where you slide from side to side and come out at the end of it. Great stuff. It is not unlike the Disco H2O ride.

Oh wow, wish I'd just come back!! It says there's a vertical drop, is this right? I can't make out from the pictures where it could be!!!!

No vertical drop.
Whhhhatt!?
"Hypnotizing water thrills await as you and your friends encounter a splashing dose of group therapy on Wet ‘n Wild’s unique new water ride, Brain Wash™. Lose your grip on reality, but not your grip on the multi-person tube, as you climb the walls on the six-story extreme tube ride with a 53-foot vertical drop into the 65-foot domed funnel."

What's going on there then?!

Look at the picture; the tunnel does not vertically drop into the funnel. A slight inclination but not a vertical drop. Great ride though. I have done it so I clearly remember.

I can see that...I just think it's wrong that wet n wild are saying there's a vertical drop when there isn't - bit of false advertising there!!

Cant wait to try this Brain Wash.
The Storm was ok but i struggled to get out at the end.
One that ill NEVER do again in Der Stuker.
Its the high slide, theres two of them. One has a rocket at the top of it. I get butterflies thinking about it

Thats the exact same ride which put me off. I felt like I was going to drown and scraped my foot on the bottom of the bit that you land in. When we went back to Orlando last year I felt so ill with nerves on the day we visited TL.

I did this! Can you tell I'm proud?! TBH, it was the worst water ride I think I did in Florida.....Bomb Bay was easier because once you're in the capsule, you don't have a choice.....you're not in control, that floor gets pulled away no matter what, lol :pgig: But with Der Stuka, you have to push yourself off!! I did this before we went to Blizzard Beach, cos I knew I was gonna have to do Summit Plummet, or my DBf would have never let me live it down!! That one didn't seem as bad, maybe because there were loads of 'little' kids going on it, so I couldn't back out, whereas when I went on Der Stuka, there weren't really other people!! Pushing yourself is definitely the worst bit though!

SamsCalling - I totally agree!! DBF went on Bomb Bay first and I went on Der Stuka.... He said Bomb Bay was worst cos you plunged, but I said Der Stuka was because you have to push yourself off and you can't see the slide or anything beneath you!!

I NEED the plunge, it was only the fear of mortal embarrasment if I sat down ready to go, then had to give up & not go on it...I mean...I can't have the wet n wild employees see me doing that...I need to visit again on future trips, lol! Did you do Brainwash? What about the Disney waterparks???
