I'm hoping the ride is NOTHING like BTTF as it was soooooo aggressive, you came off bashed and bruised. Looking forward to trying The Simpson's ride next year though.

it's got teaser details on the Universal Orlando website regards this. I for one am gutted...whilst I loved the earlier seasons of the Simpsons and welcome a Simpsons themed ride I'm bitterly dissappointed that it's at the expense of BTTF - one of my all time favourite films...

When we first went to Orlando in 1999 we were told by our shuttle driver that BTTF was the best ride in Florida.
After the holiday both my Wife and I agreed it was the worst. As someone pointed out above it was just so bumpy and made me feel incredibly ill :nonono:
I am hoping that they might smooth out the mechanics a bit for the Simpsons, but realistically I can't see too much changing except a different film obviously.
Here's hoping....
Apparantly they are spending $30 Million on the new ride, but it will still be a motion simulator ride utilising an Imax screen. Don't know where the money will be spent, but they will have to replace the cars, queing area and the inevitable after ride shop!

Ohhhh...my kids love the Simpsons. I wonder what they class as Spring as they will be disappointed if it isn't open.
