Hi I'm hoping someone can offer some realistic advice.

My wife and I are 30 :erm: within the next 12 months and are considering a 3 or 4 night cruise as part of our fortnight away next year.

We intend to travel to Florida in Aug (wife's a teacher so we are limited), there will be 4 adults and one child (DD will be 2 years old at time of travel).

Can anyone shed any light on how much roughly 2 rooms will cost? I presume August is peak season as with everything else travel related  ?

Is food included in the price or is everyting on board additional extras? Are there many activities for toddlers?

Lastly, are there things to do on each island rather than just beach activities, particularly with a toddler in mind (Neither the wife or meself are beach lovers)?

Sorry there are so many questions, just thought the experience of the DIBBers may save me time reasearching all the above.

Thanks in advance

4 NIGHT DISNEY CRUISE
ONE room sleep 5 (with Veranda) -in $s (so divide by 2 for £s) for total party:

3/8 - $6700
10/8 -$5705
17/8 -$4965
24/8 -$4665

for TWO rooms (cheapest inside cabin) total party:
3/8 - $4824
10/8 -$4344
17/8 -$4424
24/8 -$3704

Obviously a 3 night one will be cheaper, and you may want to upgrade your rooms if taking 2 rooms; so one, or both, have verandah or porthole window.

Is food included in the price or is everyting on board additional extras? Are there many activities for toddlers?

All food and soft drinks are included. Plenty to amuse a toddler though the nursery charges are extra if you use it (unlike the kids clubs)

Lastly, are there things to do on each island rather than just beach activities, particularly with a toddler in mind (Neither the wife or meself are beach lovers)?

One stop is a port (Nassau) with interesting shops, but the other stop is Disney's private island which is basically just a beach (though there are activities such as parasailing, cycling etc) - but you can always stay on board and enjoy the peace & quiet of the ship on those days

Sorry there are so many questions, just thought the experience of the DIBBers may save me time reasearching all the above.

Thanks in advance

Hope this helps
