We are thinking of doing the dine with Shamu experience at SeaWorld when we go in November and was wondering whether anyone who had done it thought it was worthwhile (ie; do you get to see Shamu whilst eating or are some of the deats further away) and also do you think we should book in advance and if so how?

Sorry for all the questions!!!

Thank you x

We did it in june. The whole thing was fantastic and would recommend it to all! Food was plentiful, buffet. Great view. Yes you can see the whale whilst eating. The seating is 1 row next to the pool and they also have a 2nd row but not as many tables. Trainers come and talk to you so you can ask any questions you might have. Booking can be done HERE (http://commerce.4adventure.com/EStore/Scripts/Skins/SWF/DiningBookNow.aspx?selectedsellinggroupid=12187)

Agree with the others it really is great. Your close enough to the animals and the trainers tell you about what they do at seaworld and answer questions. The food was good, its a buffet. I would definately try and book it in advance so your not disappointed.

Good question Stefsmith - I was going to ask the same ie what time is it on? Is it on at the same time as Believe and, if it is, can you see the show from where you sit?

and does it smell fishy? :erm:

I agree with all the comments - we had a fabulous time, well worth the money!.

If anyone is celebrating a special occasion, you can book a cake (and from what I remember the cost was reasonable & the cake was very nice). We had a birthday cake for my daughter and everyone sang "happy birthday" to her after the show.

(The only thing to remember is that there are lots of lovely sweets included in the buffet price - so you would probably have some of the cake left to take home)

Done this twice, on the second occasion in December was very disapointed with the whale interaction. They were only around for about five minutes and then they went back into the main pool to get ready for the last Believe show.
