Have Disney changed the DDP rules for 2008

I have been reading that Disney are withdrawing the appetiser from the Table Service meal on the DDP.

They have apparently withdrawn the gratuity as well which means that this will cost on top.

I bought my DDP when i booke dwith TCD a few months ago.

It looks like that what i paid for is now not going to be everything i thought it would be.

Are TCD going to do anything about this
Should i now cancel it and pay as i go?

If you were not made aware of this change when you first bought the 2008 DDP then i think you have every right to contact TCD and ask for a refund on what you paid.
Whether or not it is still a good deal really depends on your personal circumstances. Do you normally eat on-site for most of your stay? Do you eat a sit down meal everyday?

We personally wouldn't pay for it as we usually just eat off-site or counter service and we rarely eat a table service everyday.
We were lucky enough to get free dining so we will see how that works out for us.

But i don't feel like the DDP is the good deal it once was now the tip and appetizer have gone. :(

I agree with Leanne's post, think I would only pay for it again if I was going back at a very busy time (like Xmas) and planning to eat in WDW a lot.
