We are looking to do a character breakfast at Chef Mickeys this year. We are staying at Bahama Bay so will not be on site. What is the best way to do parking etc.? Am I best to do the breakfast on a Magic Kingdom day - if so where do I park?
Any help is appreciated.

I booked Chef Mickeys yesterday and the CM advised either park at MK and take the monorail or there is a carpark at the resort hotel.

we did one last year at the Polynesian which is a MK resort. We told them on the gate and they directed us to the resort car park, we didn't have to pay to park and didn't have to go to MK.
Parked at MK and got the monorail.

We had breakfast here a few weeks ago and we parked in the Comtempory hotel Car park. You have to go through the Disney car park pay booths and pay the $10 but it was so much easier leaving the car at the Contempory for the whole day while we spent the day at the MK. You get a different monorail to the contempory which was virtually empty both ways.
Just a word of warning, don't let the security guard on the Contempory gate direct you to Valet parking as you will have tp pay anoth $10. This happened to us at the Grand Floridian and we wer'nt impressed.
Chef Mickeys was great, it was my DS's 5th birthday and they really treated him like a king. (the food was pretty good as well).
