we aren't going until next July but even that thinking its a good deal as we always go in July so we would get (if my thinking is right) July, 2008 and July 2009 out of it (going for 3 weeks) we were thinking of going to sea world (had thought of getting the 14 day ultimate) but now thinking of getting the US AP and Seaworld day ticket as they usually give 2nd day free if we need it.

It's a great offer, got mine last year so still got the free year to go! :D
You still get the free parking and all the discounts.
Ali, Seaworld will give a disabled person and a carer a 50% discount on tickets bought at the gate and you still get the free 2nd day.

Didn't they have to be activated by the end of September 07 or has that changed? Sorry, haven't needed to look.

I have been looking at this today. If the ticket is not activated it will automatically be activated on Oct 31st 2007.
So if bought now it would last until Oct 31st 2009 if it wasn't activated before Oct 2007.

That's it! I knew it had to be activated by a certain time or it was automatically activated, just couldn't remember by when. Thanks.

this offer seems to appear every year
this year we had the 2nd trip from ours which we activated last Oct and which are valid until Oct 2008
don't think we'll manage to squeeze another trip in on them thought - think with the free parking and discounts they almost paid for themselves on the 1st trip anyway
the new AP's no longer have photos or are made of plastic - we got one this year for BIL and it's a normal paper pass, no photo
Would these passes be able to be used by another family? My friends are going next year, could I pass them on?

I doubt it very much
you are supposed to sign the back although my BIL was not asked to sign his one I don't think, and there is the fingerprint recognition device which is supposed to stop the pass being used by someone else
mind you it would probably work for free parking and discounts in restuarants
