I'm looking for a restaurant with a view of the fireworks or where we can go outside and get a view of the fireworks, the thing is i want to make the ADR for New Years eve, we have only just booked so I don't suppose there is much left, I know California grill is available but at $450 each for 6 of us it will be a last resort.

What about Ohana or Kona Cafe at the Poly then go down on the beach to see the fireworks?

We did this on our last night and watched Wishes while we ate at Ohana.

Are we still allowed to go to the beach even if we're not staying on site? I am quite new to this as I have been to Florida several times but never eaten at Disney

There is no problem visiting Disney resorts even if you are not an onsite guest.

Has anyone tried spirit of Aloha at 5:45 and if so what did you think, can you see the fireworks from here?
