Hi, We have decided to spend Christmas Day at Gaylords Palms Resort to see the ice sculptures and go ice skating.

I still need to organise lunch/dinner and wondered which restaurant we should book. There will be 4 of us - me, DH and 2DD who are a bit fussy! Do you think I will still get booked - I know its a while a way, but it is Christmas Day.

How would you break up the day - eg ice exhibit, lunch, then ice skating? What do you think

I know a lot of you have spent Christmas Day here, and wondered what your thoughts were.

You have to go to the Buttet Restaurant at Gaylord Palms - its amazing, food service atmosphere all great. I could have just eaten the pasta as they make it up to order in front of you.
The Steakhouse in the everglades section looked good but pricey and a bit more formal and not terribly child friendly.
My DS was off colour when we went to the Buffet and the server couldnt have been nicer - went and got him Ginger beer when we said he wasnt feeling well, and didnt charge a penny for him even though he had a bit to eat and drink.

yes the buffet in the villa del flora, they have a section devoted to desserts, and they have a chocolate fountain :) great for kids

yes we prebooked it, i am sure they will be taking bookings now :)

Hi, just pre-booked Christmas day with no problem - just had to reserve with a credit card as its a busy day.

Call 001-407-586-1114. I got through straight away and spoke to lovely lady who booked me in immediately.

Hope this helps - I'm soooo excited.

thanks for that, you're a star. we aren't going on christmas day but december 27th...reckon it will still be busy tho so i'll give them a call and get booked. :thumbs-up
