I'm wondering what is the best way to do The Kennedy Space Center. We are going to start our holiday with a few days at Cocoa Beach.

I've read there are different tours, but don't know which one to choose. We have a passing interest in Space travel, but are certainly not NASA anoraks.

Would the basic entry be all we would need, or a should we go for one of the other tours?

Cheers
Pete

I'd recommend the Behind the Scenes tour. You get to see more of the Center and some of the narrators have been there since the 1960s and have a real wealth of knowledge and stories.

We did the up close and personal tour... cost a wee bit more but was very very poignant :( Our friends did the other tour and I gather both tours are very good. To do these tours you will need photo ID or you won't be let in.

We did the tour you get with the Maximum Pass. Next time we may consider doing the tour where you have lunch with an astronaut.
It is a fascinating place but you really need to go into a second day to do it justice - if we had the time last trip we would have done that!

Don't forget to do the Hall of Fame just up the road (included in the ticket price). We also did the Police Museum next door (free entry).

I find the KSC site confusing we would be interested in doing the IMAX & all those kind of activities according to this site it's £20 what exactly does that include? Sorry to sound dim but it seems like there are so many different options on KSC's own site.
