Are you looking for a local restaurant or are you considering some of the park restaurants? Ages of your children?

Hi and welcome to the board! :wavey: If you are getting married in I-drive, my fave resaurant is Bahama Breeze. Lively atmosphere, great for kids, and the food is fab!

I would also suggest the Grand Floridian option. Since it is a special day I would also suggest that you consider the new photo session that they are offering. It really is a bargain for the price and you would certainly end up with some great photos.
The meal would be very busy and it can be quite loud. I think your girls would love it though.
Perhaps you could book a limo to take you over to the Grand Floridian? You could watch the electrical light water parade on the beach of the resort if you timed it right.
I am local so pm me if you have other questions about your day. I'd be happy to help if I can.

Hi Laura,
I am also getting married (taking my two sons) and wanted a special meal afterwards and several very helpful dibbers suggested Narcoossee's which seems a great place to eat although expensive! This restaurants has good reviews and you can view Wishes from their walkway around the restaurant. I hope you have a fantastic time and enjoy your special day! I'm very excited about mine but I have to wait until next May!!
Congratulations Nickie

Narcoossee's is a nice option (more seafood oriented) with a really nice view. This would be a bit more adult geared than child. It would be my pick but I wasn't sure what you were going for because of the children.
We went to Uno's for our wedding meal, I booked it 2 days before and the manager showed me around the place and they reversed a section of the restarant just for us, he let me pick where I liked, we choose a cosy bit at the front, it was like a proper wedding reception there were 17 of us, we all loved the food and had space to get up and move and sit with everyone whilst we were there, and nobody apart from the waiter came into the area.

Sorry to ask on this thread but I just wanted to ask if you think that Narcoossee's is not appropriate for kids? My sons will be aged 10 and 8 years old and are well behaved and not fussy eaters. Also as I do not like seafood particularly I thought that the steak looks a good option but I value your opinions. I just loved the thought of ending my wedding day with fireworks!!
Thanks Nickie

I think you would be fine. Enjoy it!
They have a good child's menu on offer (pasted below). Another tip I always offer is that you can always order from the child's menu if the portions are simply too large or for those that are trying to watch their food intake. I know of several who do this. Most restaurants are happy to cater to a lighter eating.
Chicken Soup
Fresh Fruit Cup
Caesar Salad
Oven-baked Fish - with mashed potatoes and vegetables
FIlet Mignon - with mashed potatoes and vegetables
Hamburger or Cheeseburger - with mashed potatoes and vegetables
Macaroni and Cheese
Chicken Strips - with mashed potatoes and vegetables
Pasta with Marinara Sauce
Chocolate Brownie Sundae
Banana Split
Make your Own S'mores
