Pacinos opposite Old Town. Great steaks and a nice restaurant to boot.

Ponderosa, would avoid like the plague! There are much better cheapies around such as Perkins, Bob Evans or even Dennys.

Joes Crab shack is fun but the food was bland and poorly presented. I had the water from the veg all over my dinner and when I complained they said oh that's the way it comes.....I think not boy!

I have got to agree with the above about Ponderosa, we had a nice couple of meals at Carabbas (sp) near to TGI's. :tounge:

On the Splendid China shopping area, on Formosa Garden Boulovard, you have a choice of, Outback Steak House, TGI Fridays and Carrabbas Italian Restaurant :tounge: Giordano's Restaurant :thumbs-up

Key W Kools on the opposite side of the 192 to TGIs. Ranks up with the best steaks that I have had in the area. 32oz Porterhouse, grilled on an open pit wood fire. Even Frances who isn't a great steak fan thought that it was exceptional. They used to carry a range of guest micro beers an ideal accompaniment to a hearty steak but sadly no longer and the choice is down to the usual american beers

The Formosa Gardens area of the 192 has varying options from restaurants, to buffets, to fast food.

Our most favourite has to be Carrabbas Italian, with a few visits each trip (and we visit Kissimmee 2/3 times a year!) as well as serving the most amazing Italian dishes, it also has other options such as pork, beef ect, so dont be put off if you think it is just Italian! My hubbys favourite is the Pork Steaks

Outback Steakhouse also in this area, my daughters favourite!

TGI Fridays and Giordano's

You then have the Taco Bell on the Formosa area and a Chinese Restaurant and take away.

Houlihans a short stride away, heading west - a nice restaurant which is another favourite, hubby loves the potato soup here!

Mcdonalds next to Houlihans and Chick-A-Fila across the road not too far away.

Heading East from Formosa, you have Golden Coral which is (for us) the best buffet type restaurant. serves, breakfast, dinner and evening.

There are lots more as you can imagine the further away you travel from Formosa along the 192.

Another vote for Carrabas, they have a wonderful Pork chop with marsala sauce which is to die for!! They also have 'happy hour' every night from 5-7 with two drinks for the price of one.

Outback and Carrabas on Formosa Gardens also do kerbside takeout where they will package up a great meal for you to collect and eat at the villa. Beats delivery take out every time YUM!

I thought Outback was really poor this year, tried 2 different ones and both were poor.

Best steak I had in that area this year was at the Colorado House of Beef on the corner of 192 and Sherbeth Rd. There is real Italian called Bruno's just past Houlihans.
