Breakfast with Mickey

I've just rung to make a booking for breakfast with Mickey at Restaurantasaurus (something like that!) at Animal Kingdom for my son in laws birthday and have been told that they aren't taking any bookings after November 9th as the place is changing and they're not sure when it wil reopen! Any ideas where to go as he particularly loves Mickey and co and thought breakfast was a good start to the day.

It's Minnie that's at Cape May not Mickey, well she was last week when we went.

Chef Mickey's is excellent, breakfast or dinner.

I can definitely recommend Chef Mickey at the Contemporary. We had breakfast here just over a week ago and it was great. All the characters took time to come to each table (Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto and Goofy). We stayed so long that Mickey came twice!! We were able to see Donald Duck in the lobby for photos and autographs.

Don't know about lunch or dinner, but the buffet for breakfast was great. There was a huge choice and you could go back as often as you liked. We didn't need to eat anything until the evening and my 2 children (9 and 6) didn't complain or ask for anything to eat during the day.

Thanks for the tips. Can you go to Chef Mickey's if your staying at any of the Disney hotels?

Anyone can go to any of the restaurants - you don't have to be staying onsite.
