Hi
Pacinos over the road from Old Town is very nice. In fact I always have one of my best holiday steaks there cooked on the indoor pit :thumbs-up

Just down from Old Town on the 192 by the big orange - Longhorns steakhouse. steaks and ribs are superb :thumbs-up
Hi,
We stayed a minutes walk away from the old town last year. My OH and the kids loved it, it wasn't really my thing [lots of fumes from fairground, acrades]Didn't really see anywhere nice to eat in the old town. There was a diner and plenty of takeaways.
However there is no denying that it has a good atmophere when the car and bike rallies are on.

Never been a fan of Old Town, only visited the once back in 1999 mind you so it might have improved since then. I won't go into detail but the male toilets obviously served another purpose other than to go to the toilet..........!!!
Anyway, there are still some great restaurants on 192. I would always pay a visit to the Ruby Tuesdays, which is next to what used to be the Wynfield Inn (now called Polynesian Inn???). This was our first meal ever in Florida or for that matter in the USA, great service, great food, always go back at least once during our visits.
If it is still there, the Chicago Pizzeria Uno is also excellent. Just don't order the Onion Rings for starters.......OMG, about 30 came out. I was stuffed before my main meal came out!!! LOL.
We also like uno's just up from oldtown, also Pacinos over the road from Old Town.

Logans Roadhouse is not far if my memory serves me correctly.
Great atmosphere if you can cope with nutshells all over the floor :confused2 :confused2

I'm afraid Darryls closed on I Drive a long time ago as well. This was by far the best restaurant in Orlando during our visits in 1999 & 2000 but in 2003 it had gone.
Houlihans is part of the same chain and the one on I Drive was excellent in 2003 but had gone downhill big time come our 2005 visit and we have never been back since.

There is a Damons restaurant at Old Town.
Sat night is the car show night, we tend to go on the Sat night as we find the atmosphere is better. There is also an outdoor 'stage' area where country / western type music is live along with line dancing.
