Hi everyone,
we are off in 5 weeks and we have 3 kids 2 girls and 1 boy.
I havent been to disney for 10 yrs(pre kids!!),so have never done a character meal, which is the best, i realise i need to book asap, but really havent a clue where to go.
Any advice would be be great.

Crystal Palace for Breakfast with Winnie the Pooh, Piglet & Eyore. The food, character interaction & location are second to none. My daughters were 8 & my son 9 when we last ate there & they thoroughly enjoyed it & can't wait to go back. We didn't enjoy Chef Mickeys half as much, much nosier & canteen like.

We would have to agree with Jo tried Cyrstal Palace thought it was great my 2 daughters loved it (3 and 9) the characters spent loads of time with the youngest it made her day she is a big Piglet fan.

My new fav is Liberty Tree Tavern.
Crystal palace and Chef Mickeys are both really nice, Also you have the Garden Grille.
Depends really what Characters you want and whether you want a Buffet or not

Crystal palace for us is a good all rounder
Liberty tree tavern is the same.
Chef mickeys is good for the character interaction but not a lot else.

We love the breakfast at the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club, which has Goofy, Chip 'n Dale and Minnie. It's normally listed that Minnie cannot be guaranteed, but we have been twice and she has been there both times. Both DD & DS love it there. It's a lovely location & not too noisy.

We have just returned and did 2 breakfasts - Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey at the Contemporary. If you're only doing one, it really depends what age and what characters your children really like. My sons, 9 and 6, enjoyed both. Crystal Palace has Winne the Pooh and friends, Chef Mickey - Mickey Mouse and friends.
The advantage of Crystal Palace is that it can be fitted in with a day at Magic Kingdom.
For us, Chef Mickey was the winner as we are vegetarian and the choice was huge. (We also managed to eat plenty at Crystal Palace). We were too early for Chef Mickey, so we took a long ride on the monorail (went all the way round from MK, back to MK and then on to Contemporary) which was all part of the fun for the boys as they wanted to go on the monorail.
Crystal Palace was lovely and gets my vote.
