Free Upgrade

Just received an email from Dreams stating that we have been upgraded from Cat 8 room 7010 to Cat 5 room 7138. I'm so excited but I'm desperately trying to find the website that gives you the reviews on each room. Can't find it for the life of me. Anyone able to help. We have moved to the other end of the ship into one of the Disabled access rooms. I think they have more room and we've got a verandah. Still not so sure about DS with this though. Couldn't believe it when I opened the email. Thought it was going to tell us bad news!!!

That's the one i was looking for. As you say not much on it but it does say quiet and peaceful. Won't be when my two are high as kites and making plenty noise!!!!! Thank you for the quick reply

Who are you booked through? If its dreams you can keep your fingers crossed!!! It may have something to do with them offering a Cat 6 upgrade for $200 and I didn't take it. I also enquired about a 7 day Christmas cruise with them!!!

We have 21 days to go for our cruise.

we've been allocated our GTY room for next October(08) already...I'd hoped for an upgrade, but amazed its been assigned so early & we got the Cat.we booked!
I'm pleased with its location though so will probably stay put, unless i get an offer of an upgrade I cant refuse! ;)
Can i ask you, did you get a choice wether to accept the upgrade or did you HAVE to take it?(Like you wouldnt in that Cat!!LOL!) :pgig:
BTW..Deck 7 is supposed to be one of the best decks for peace & quiet when sleeping at night!

Thats a fabulous cabin! It's a cabin with disability access so is larger than an ordinary one...plus the balcony's a bit bigger too! What wonderful views you'll have too!:)

As I said in a previous post we got offered an upgrade to cat 6 for $200 a couple of weeks ago and I declined it. The email I received last night says You have received a complimentary upgrade from Cat 8 to Cat 5. If you have already received you docs just cross out old room number on luggage tags and write on new one. So we haven't got a choice I'm afraid. If I really didn't want it I'm sure they would allocate it to someone else but I'm certainly not going to turn down a good one like this!!!! :spin: Not very often you get things for FREE. I've never ever had any freebees!! Maybe the sign of things to come!!

Your room is in a great position..Do you know about the 'secret' sun decks on Deck 7?Think theres one either end of the ship so you'll have a choice of your verandah or one of those too!

I read somewhere about the secret deck. I take it it will be the corridor at the side of our room then? Hopefully there's not too many people know about it!!!!

I'm sure we'll have a fab time. Can't wait for those docs to come popping through the door!!!!

Thats great news. We booked through Disney using DVC points + cash - Category 11. I was wishing maybe an upgrade as its our 2nd cruise but it looks like its not to be:( Still its a lovely ship and the inside cabins are comfortable and we are only on for 3 nights so we will still enjoy ourselves:thumbs-up
