Hi everybody

I have just found this on the BBC web site and thought I should pass on the bad news. It does not effect me and I hope that goes for everyone else.

given the reports we have been getting on these boards, I can't say I am surprised.

Can I just point out that this company is not the same as themeparkticketsdirect, who are Dibb Sponsors.

The news site says that anyone why paid over £100 by credit card will be covered by their company. I guess that's something to consider whoever we book our tickets with.

Just to point out this is not the Dibb sponsor ticket company.

THIS COMPANY WAS ALSO CALLED SUNSTYLE!!!

We used them 2 years ago for tickets and a villa, tickets were ok but they had a bigger villa site, please ask anyone you know who has booked a villa if they used sunstyle as they are the same company and have gone bust.

We had no end of problems with booking a villa. First 4 weeks before departure we were emailed saying the villa we booked a year ago was not available and then they would look for another. Days went by and no word, in the end we had to look for villas on their website. After finding a good one at emerald island we booked it. 7 days before departure WE had to inform sunstyle that after some searching on the web the villa was apparently for sale! and no-one could get in contact for the owner. Then we were given another villa which thankfully was fine! although they wouldnt give a refund.

The person who runs the sites is called RORY, he basically ran the whole company! Tickets, Villa, car hire. He was very friendly in emails but we could never get them to pick up the phone!

Beware!

Yes, it affects the following companies: Sunstyle Villas, Themepark-tickets.com and also internetrentacar

I ordered my tickets as far back as April (for an August departure date) and never got them. I do hope that I, and everyone else, can get their money back from these losers.

Hi...Sunstylefloridavillas.com also Orlandoholiday-villas.co.uk or Sunstylevacations.com who villa owners advertised through includeing me although i never had a booking from them.
I was called by Rory about 2 1/2 years ago to advertise with them and i filled in all my info and heard nothing, then a year ago i was called by Tracy who said Rory was no longer with them and almost pleaded would i advertise with them and did i know any other owners who would, i did but heard nothing from them and whenever i called them she was out or just now i tried her own mobile number and it is switched off..

I hope you get your money back soon, this is so horrible when people save for so long for these holidays.

I can't say I'm surprised either! I ordered my tickets from them last year. They were absolutely appalling on the delivery, I was promised early delivery and that I could have them sent to my work address and even after ringing them about 4 times they still weren't delivered while less then 2 weeks beforehand and to my home which meant I had to call at the sorting office as I was at work. I had ordered them 13 months in advance too.

I used them for March this year, after 6 phones calls to see what was going on with my tickets was told they had been posted. The day we went to Gatwick phoned to ask why they have not arrived was told must have been lost in the post and they would send someone with them to the Hilton at Gatwick and would be ready for me to pick up on arrival, and they was.

I feel so sorry for all those people that have booked tickets with them.

Going back a couple of years we ordered tickets from these guys and had no end of problems, I posted on here at the time to warn others. I'm not surprised that they have gone bust as their customer service was shocking.

I sincerely hope this doesn't leave anyone out of pocket or disappointed. :(

Yes it is a different company. We used themeparkticketsdirect.com twice this year as they were the cheapest and they delivered within 10 days - I would definintely recommend them.

I'm not surprised themepark-tickets have gone bust - judging by the reports on here their service was terrible.

Good luck everyone - hope it doesn't affect anyone too badly

This is awful! I hope that the people who have ordered from them manage to get their money back! Thank goodness for this site who has helped many people not order after listening to other dibbers experience with this company.

I think we used this company a couple of years ago...we personally didnt have any problems but friends of ours had to wait till nearly last minute before they got their tickets.

We used the company a few years back and had problems although we did eventually get our tickets in time but I'm not surprised at this - it is a competitive business and if you do not good service you will not survive.

I booked DC through them last year i had a hell of a game trying to get the reference number from them the lady was so rude on the phone, but the day after they did send what i call tickets which were bits of paper with DC pictures on and the reference written on top.

This is awful i hope everyone who is affected by this gets their money back.
