View Full Version : Abercrombie & Fitch - $ prices
Have just spent an annoying 30 mins trying to locate $ prices for A&F., to no avail, all I can get are sterling prices!!
Can anyone give me an idea as to the cost of a basic A&F T-shirt in $?
Thank you

Can't remember exact prices and dd is off horse riding at the mo but they were in and around $25. I know I paid $32+tax for a men's vintage style t shirt.
Ok that gives me something to work on - thanks everyone. DH is off to Boston and he can check them out for me to buy in Florida in December.

I've managed to get on the US kids site

I really hate websites that force you onto the uk version, normally they at least ask you if that's where you want to go.

its designed to stop people knowing how much the USA pay for items and how much other countries get ripped off

K Walshe - I ordered some stuff from the A&F site a couple of weeks ago and it said there that all customs charges were included in the delivery price - might be worth taking it up with A&F first.

From memory your looking at around $40
effectively the price in £'s is the price you will pay in $'s
The prices on the UK website are universal so if its £30 over here then it will be $30 in the US. I found this out when I visited the London store and saw how much it was. To say I was shocked was an understatement.

When I went a couple of weeks ago I spent $350 in there but I know from compareing prices that it would have cost me more than that in £ at home.
Ooooooooooo, my fave shop lol

went to a&f last feb going back this feb but didnt see kids section in the one in florida mall, does anyone one know if there is one in there please as boys want to get stuff there when we go back in feb
I've just got back from NY & Orlando, went to all the A&F's I could including 5th ave flagship store, Southstreet seaport and the one's at Mall Millenia & Florida Mall.
They have a clearance section normally at the back of the stores except 5th Ave which is all full price. $ prices are much better than £'s and with the current exchange rates you cant go wrong over there :)
I bought back loads including a Harrison Jacket (olive) for $178. Look at the UK price.

If anyone is into Abercrombie's other store Hollister which is cheaper, they have some amazing reductions on at the moment, just go to the back of the store, tables full of T's, fleece ect ;)
I picked up a hoody fleece from there reduced from $50 to $20, mind the cashier didnt put it through the till so I ended up getting it for free :)
Shop till you drop

In the florida mall the adults store is called abercrombie and the kids store a couple of doors down on the the other side was called abercrombie and fitch.

I went to A&F in the Florida Mall a couple of weeks ago. I didnt see any childrens stuff in there. I did notice that further down there was an Abercrombie store but was spent up by then so didnt go in. Hmmm, I wonder if anyone went in it recently. Did it sell anything different than A&F???

That was the kids stuff in there. I managed to get away with buying X-Large girls and saved a bit of cash there. There was also clearance items in there too.

My DW loves abercrombie and fitch. We always stop off at florida mall before we fly home and pickup loads of goodies. The bargain stuff is always right at the back of the store but compared to UK prices its all a bargain :-)

My local Madhouse store stocks A&F stuff. That's reason enough not to buy it in the US or the UK......
Or am I just a snob?
Seriously, that label used to be great in the early 2000's. I can remember going to NY down to Port Authority and both my Wife and I, and my Brother buying the shop out....nearly.
What ruined it for me was the advent of muscle fit, where the XXL is made smaller to show off muscles (funnily enough). Now my muscles tend to be semi fat, not normally a problem but I just can't get into XXL A&F anymore.
I tend to find the bargains are in American Eagle these days. My Wife came back from the USA last year with two tee's for $12, that's just £3 each approximately.
Hollister stuff is awful. After 2 or 3 washes the tees start getting holes in them because the material is so cheap.
Labels aren't quite what they used to be. I'm happier with my £8 pair of Tesco jeans then my $80 Calvin Kleins.
