Can somebody please tell me where the area of lake buena vista is, were looking into staying at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa on the 535, is that area called LBV, sorry to sound daft but I really don't know, I've read it's close to disney, but we went past the hotel last year and we didn't think it was really that close.

Also where is the crossroads, I've read about it but never known where is it, I'm not the driver, I probably won't know is I'm told, but would like to know.

Thank you.

LBV is Lake Buena Visat, it's a nice area to stay, much quieter than I drive.

There is a side entrance to Disney from LBV, it's right by the crossroads at the four way set of traffic lights. If you have Crossroads on your right at the next set of traffic lights you turn left into Disney, it's not a huge entrance so probably easy to miss. It's so close to Downtown Disney.

I think where your hotel is there is a Bahama Breeze and Golden Corral (i think!!) if you turn right out of your hotel area onto the main road you will come to the crossroads centre on your right and there are a few shops, restaurants and cRAZY gOLF.

I think this is near to the LBV outlets down the 535 and its not near the BB which is next to the marriot village.its a nice area but the traffic lights are a pain on the 535 but to get to disney from there it straught along the 535 and turn left into world centre drive ..about 10 mins ..i think..somebdy will correct me if I;m wrong

We stayed on Palm Parkway, a little way further down from the Crossroads, and the whole area is lovely - much quieter than I Drive which we didn't like at all - wouldn't stay there. We never had a problem with the traffic lights (we went in May) and we are staying there again next time. Not sure exactly where your hotel is, but I'm sure it's in a great location! As Tinkerbell said, very close to DTD and the parks, and also really close to Sea World.

Lake Buena Vista Resort - is next door to the Lake Buena Vista Shopping village - it's not far from Disney but it's not adjacent either.

The area of LBV does touch Disney property, but this resort is maybe 5-10 minutes drive away, Here's a map from the resort to Epcot.
Map (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&saddr=15591+S+Apopka+Vineland+Rd,+Orlando,+FL+3282 1&daddr=Epcot+Center+Parking+Acc,+Orlando,+FL+32830, +USA&sll=28.352885,-81.512547&sspn=0.074326,0.114498&ie=UTF8&ll=28.366329,-81.524734&spn=0.074316,0.114498&t=h&z=13&om=1)

If instead of turning left onto World Center Drive - you went straight on, then crossroads is on your right, and then entrance to DTD is on your left.

The LBV Resort Village & Spa is on SR535 just South of I4 and the 417 Greeneway and next door to the LBV Factory Outlets. It is about 2 miles South of the Crossroads shopping plaza which is also on SR535 but North of I4. Hope this helps you to picture where they both are.

We stayed at the LBV resort in June and it was is very close to WDW, we could drive to MK or Epcot parking lot in under 10 minutes.

Thank you Lynn, I knew where the hotel was, when we went shopping last year at the LBV outlets, we said we liked the look of it, but didn't know what it was called , I posted asking what it was called and you were there at the time and told me and I read about it in your trip report, I didn't know where crossroads was but now I do, thank you.

That's great 10mins to MK and Epcot, Thank you very much for your help.
