New DIBB Orlando Area Villa Map

[SMAX]

I have made a Scrollable Zooming Villa location map for theDIBB. I hope that this will prove to be the best location map out on the Internet. Steve (Mapman) has very kindly worked on the actual map with several revisions of the locations. And I have constructed the Flash interface.

As an extra feature you can select a Villa Community from the drop down list and the map will scroll to it, marking it with a red spot. Also for some of the locations, like Formosa Gardens, Bahama Bay, Santa Cruz, Terra Verde, Windsor Hills, Sunset Lakes, Orange Tree and Bella Vida there will be a "Show Info" button which will popup an information area over the map. More will be added all the time.....

It's taken a lot of hard work and a lot of late nights to put this together, but I hope the members will find it useful.

Highgate is within the Legacy Park complex, in the South-Western corner of the estate. You can see the location on Google Earth but the pic is pre-development judging by the total lack of houses!

I have just checked for our home on google earth and it has disappeared :erm: it was there a couple of months ago complete with a guests car on the drive now it is just a sand pit in the middle of a building site although building finished on High Grove almost 2 years ago. So it is a very out of date picture on Google Earth.
However I then had a look on microsofts virtual earth and it is showing on there so i am happy it has not disappeared overnight!! :grin:

yes it definatley is an out of date picture on google earth, I keep checking in the hope that they have updated it.

I think its about 2 years old, as there are only houses on the first phase, the community is now complete.

Smax has now added highgate to the map :)

Google Earth is funny, sometimes our house is there, sometimes its just a field!!! Im sure in the next couple of years it will materialize fully!!
