Anybody been to DLP in May?

Can anybody give me an idea of how busy it is at DLP during late May/early June? I'm thinking of going for my 30th birthday, but not sure if it's going to be a nightmare with regards to crowds...

i went in early June 2005, a long weekend. No queues at all. Lovely.

Then I went in late July in 2006 and it was hell on earth.

I've been with the family for past two years during May half term, so late May. There were queues but nothing too bad. At the Studios we hardly had to queue at all because most of the attractions take so many people at a time. In Disneyland itself we have had to queue, but my 2 young children coped really well and so it couldn't be that bad.

We've been several times in UK late spring Bank Hol week and as previously said it should be fine. However check on the intranet when ascension day is and avoid the following weekend as many continentals bridge the weekend - it coincided one year and was hell. As Easter is very early next year I suspect you will be fine

Thanks for the advice guys - I think we'll just suck it up and go regardless - I've always wanted to have a 'Disney Birthday', and my 30th will be the perfect opportunity!

We 've been the 1st week in June & found it a great time to visit. Usually lovely weather too. No fireworks during the week though
