Walmart vs Walgreens

I have seen Walmarts mentioned a lot but what is the difference between Walmart and Walgreens? :confused2

Walmart is a very very large Supermarket where as wallgreens is a pharmacy a bit like superdrug.

Walmart you could spend a fortune in - lots of bargains to be had. Walgreens great for medication or emergency supplies of milk, tea, beer etc.

No, K-Mart is just another 'supermarket' so to speak

K-Mart is similar to Walmart but they are generally smaller stores. Walgreens is mainly a pharmacy/chemist with a few bits of tourist goods and some foodstuffs.

I will be staying on International Drive near Wet N Wild, does anyone know how close a Walmart is from there? I can see there is a Walgreens pretty much opposite Wet N Wild.

I just love Walmart, K mart, Walgreens, Publix and Goodings (in that order)

Walmart own asda in the u.k. so think of your local asda and add lots on that is walmart. As for walgreens have found them good for photos old 35mm.

There is a large Walgreens on I-Drive thats not just pharmacy stuff...went there for emergency hurricane supplies...bought stuf which really was not the best survival food!

I dont think you can say wallgreens is like superdrug, its much much better, it sells food, drinks, clothes, toys even, i have never thought of it as a pharmacy! :grin:

Walgreens do the best orange juice, this stuff is seriously addictive.

We got lovely snow globes from Walgreens on Idrive last year, think they were $9.99 each and DD2 loves them..would have me playing them all day for her. We LOVED Walmart, dont think we went into a publix or found a goodings though but my preference would deff be Walmart.

walgreens in my opinion is like a pharmacy but that sells extras eg toys and food. where as walmarts sell evrything!iv been to america for the equvilent to 3months ov my life and i must of spent a month of that walking rwnd walmarts!haha

The supermarket near the dixie stampead is Publix. There is also a walgreens at that location.Sorry for comparing it to superdrug but that was the best comparison in the UK but being in the US it will obviously be 100times better.

Walmart is much better, as it has everything you will ever want!!! :d: walgreens is good for those things you need in a hurry or things you run out of, instead of going to a huge supermarket it is handy to just run in there :wavey:

I think you got it right Tracey - Walgreens is on a similar line to Superdrug - maybe a bit bigger but same sort of stuff. :thumbs-up
