Some restaurants do state an age limit (my eldest DD was 12 last time but still wanted kids meals, so we always checked!) but not many.

You could always order her just an appetiser (starter) - they are quite enough for a small meal. or it is perfectly acceptable to ask for an extra plate and share meals, I'm sure we could have fed one more body from the amount we left over between us!

We sometimes ordered kids meals for our DS2 (15) as he is not a big eater. The only time you wouldn't be allowed to order kids meals for an adult are at buffets and family style meals.

My Mum is not a big eater but managed fine with adult meals.

Probably better off ordering an appetiser as a main course.

Kid's menus are very limited - pizza, hot dogs, chicken strips.

My mum is coming with us too in October. She is not a big eater but I can just picture her face if we suggested ordering from the kids menu !!!!!!! :pgig: :pgig: :pgig: :pgig:
