Smokey Bones is our favourite restaurant. The food and atmosphere is great. (www.smokeybones.com (http://www.smokeybones.com)).

Can you be a bit more specific (where are you staying) as its like saying can you recommend a place in London.

I would recommend Pnderosa and GOlden Coral. We have never had a bad meal there yet. Also Damiens in Old Town is a bit more pricey but good

As Paul says, Kissimmee is a huge area and there are a gazillion choices of restaurant along the main HWY192. Our favourites are Carrabbas Italian Grill and the Outback Steakhouse, both at Formosa Gardens west of Disney. (Worth remembering that Carrabas has 2 for 1 drinks 'happy hour' 5-7pm daily ;) )

Definetly Logans Roadhouse near the crossroads for 192/Celebration. A bit dearer but well worth it (we named our new kitten after it, it was so good) This will be our first stop in February.

For Breakfast or Buffet dinner LA Buffet, past Old Town going towards Medeivel Times (mear the big shop shaped like an orange) Very good Value and good range, we saw some locals leave there without eating once because they had no roast lamb, although they had beef and chinese and italian and american and anything else you can think of.

If your staying at Cumbrian Lakes then the Formosa area might be a bit out of your way as this is West 192 / Mile Marker 4 ... unless of course you fancy a little drive up the 192.

Having said that, it would be well worth it as Carrabbas Italian is our absolute favourite, it does cater for all tastes, so if your not into 'Italian' food as such dont let this put you off, hubby always has the pork steaks and mash when we go!

We usually stay at Cumbrian Lakes. Perkins is about 2 minutes away (in the car) and their food is great, especially their breakfasts. It's at the junction of 192 and the Poinciana Boulevard.

Don't know that end so well.

If money is tight then Ponderosa, Sizzlers, Perkins and Golden Coral are OK. If your budget has a bit of play in it then Olive Garden, TGI's & Outback. If your not on a strict budget then Carrabbas, Houlihans, Colorado House of Beef & Bahama Breeze.

We always do Chili's and Olive Garden when we're over. Tried IHOP, Smokey Bones and Ruby Tuesday last time and not disappointed in any of them. They're all off the 192 at your end.

Cheers,
