Silver springs

We were looking at silver springs as an alternative day out, has anyone been?

Hello,

yes we went for a day last September, leave early it is about an hour and half from Orlando but well worth it in my opinion. Feels like the REAL florida, no crowds. I would recommend the boat trips, one took us to see the springs, we also saw some baby gators and they give you cones to feed the BIG fish! The second one was down a river and here we saw lots of BIG gators, turtles and birds and there are wild monkeys in the trees's!
They also have wildlife shows with Birds of Prey etc.
Really, it was a fab day out, if you like wildlife you will love it!

I agree with mrs, we have been a couple of times and it's a nice day out.

We've been a couple of times too - last time 3 years ago and love it up there. Definitely worth the drive.

Worth a trip I think. Make sure you take a coke product as you will get a discount on entry (Unless you have another coupon).
