I wanted to plan a day for my husband whilst in orlando and I know he would love to eat at hooters (can't imagine why :erm: )

We have two young DDs will it be ok for them?

Also if so is there one near to kissimee as he also wants to watch the cruise.

We've been to Hooters and there were lots of families there. There were no objections from our DD. I'm sure it will be fine if you go early evening, maybe it's a little rowdier later on.

I wouldnt take REALLY small children here as its very much a "bar" vibe, and can get a bit rowdy but older ones would be fine.

As suggested, go earlier in the evening and there will be more families - the lechy blokes dont arrive till after 8pm LOL!

A thread about Hooters and no post from Steve? (highlander447). I'm sure he'll be along soon with his input and his experiences of eating at this particular establishment! ;)

C'mon Steve - someone needs your help here.

LOL Pam
My kids like it there my sons 14 though, my daughter is a right little feminist though and she wears her Hooters T-Shirt out, the one at Kissimee I'm sure someone posted due to council objections etc the girls wear a more covering clothing, the best one we found was at LBV lots of families enjoying a meal and a beer, and lots of dads getting their sons pics took with the gals cant think why ;)

We took DS there when he was about 15... eyes on stalks...

He had his picture taken with our server, Fabiana was her name and she certainly lived up to her name.

Still have the picture. Fabiana Cuddling our very red faced byt happy DS.

Cheers
Pete

Hooters is great (not just for us guys)

In England it would end up becoming very tacky and nasty, but we went with my son and daughter (5 & 4) and was one of our best nights

It is much more family orientated (yes there are stunningly attractive women but they are like cheerleaders as opposed to be ladies of the night)

They made us all feel very welcome, the food and beer is good, and we even got to watch the space shuttle takeoff from outside on the porch area

We went to the one at Crossroads

Next stop on my sad old man tour will be the Wing House, similar theme, different outfits cant wait :tounge:

Just remember our waitress (Mary I thnk ) was actually 8 months pregnant !!

I remember my wife saying she wish she had looked that good when 8 months pregnant and I commented so do I

Got a slap for some reason

DS (15 at the time) had a great time in Hooters. Can't imagine why!

DH also thought it was worth going. :pgig: We went to the one at LBV. The atmosphere was great with loads of families. DS bought himself a t-shirt and one for a mate back home. I didn't feel awkward at all, and would recommend it for the atmosphere, but not the food!

:d:

Not at all! All our food was like it. The picture shows a steak sandwich with a pot of chili and a pot of potato salad (apparantly!)

Have to say we did eat it all, so it must have tasted better than it looked! :D

This was the chicken wing starter

Doesn't look great - but like I said, we ate it all :spin:

As you can see by the look on DS's face, he would definately go back :thumbs-up

I though Hooters was great.

I was a bit apprehensive about going there - thought it might be a bit seedy / dirty (not the unhygenic dirty ;) ) - But it was really good.

i couldnt beleive the families there. There was even a birthday party for a girl of about 12.

Defo go back (for the food!!!)
