Got back from the magic (5th time!) 2 weeks ago :nonono: and had a fantastic time :spin: ...We went to the publix supermarket on 192 and they had a deli counter which done subs, chicken etc so we thought we would try their ultimate sub... :d: well it was massive..with turkey..bologne..ham.. swiss cheese.. lettuce tomato..jalepenos.. olives..peppers mayo. ..basically everything...it was like subways but better and bigger :pgig: ...good price too...next time we will 100% go there again :thumbs-up

We always have the Boars Head subs from publix, they are yummmy.

We choose our own fillings, and they are huge, we always share one between us.

Its tradition that we always have subs from publix when we go.

Sounds nice, i've made a mental note for our next trip as there is a Publix 5 mins from where we are staying.

Thankyou

We called there on our arrival night and did the shopping before going to Bahama Bay and had Boar's Head Subs - absolutely delicious and plan on doing the same again next year.

We bought them last year, for dm whilst we went to TL, also we took them on the plane on the way home as I don't eat plane food, very very tasty.

Despite all our trips to Orlando, we have only just discovered Subs at Publix in February this year. Of course we had to have some in September when we were there - they are great, freshly made and massive - full to brimming of our choice!

They are great!!!!!

Publix has some of the best fried chicken in town as well. That is also worth trying. Their subs are great (and 100% made to order)!

Quizno's is my DH's favorite sub shop and they are often found in shopping centers.

I'd forgotten about the fried chicken. I used to call & get some & potato wedges sometimes for our evening meal; they were lovely. I didn't realise they did subs. Hmmm... I wonder if they do subs with fried chicken.

Katie :)

We love Publix too, the bakery is really good. Lots of choice of salad and fresh fruit too.

Another big fan of Publix Subs here! :spin:

We tend to pick them up on our way to the water parks - makes a nice change from standard burgers/pizza/chicken strips etc :thumbs-up

The philly cheese boreshead sub from publix is awesome! And a pound of chicken tenders is a bargain, get some and a french stick and make your own sarnie lathered with Guldens spicy brown mustard washed down with a 44oz fountain drink! Life doesn't get much better

I want to go and live there :tounge:

I want to go and live there :tounge:

I want to live there too.

For breakfast we would have the usual cereals and toast, OJ and coffee, but those packs of prepared fruit (melon, strawberries and pineapple) were also wonderful to finish off. Oh and the cinammon rolls by Entenmanns - absolutely delish. We never have this sort of breakfast at home, we are always in too much of a rush and it is not the same sat in a dark dining room of a morning rather than out on the balcony in the tropical heat.

If we had spent the morning around the pool, we would have sandwiches etc, but everything just tasted so much better over there.
