I'm planning to see this too so I hope they don't change the dates as we've booked the flights now.

You can book tickets usually 1 - 2 months before the launch on the KSC site, they go VERY quickly though. As slifex said there's another thread at the moment that's discussing other places you can watch the launch from.

I'm flying out on 22nd April so I am keeping my fingers crosed that it goes up on schedule. Really want to see it but have not got a good track record - year before least had tickets for the launch but it was postponed, this year was due to be there again but it was postponed again - hopefully this will be third time lucky.

Hi

We have tickets for the launch of Discovery this month on the 23rd.

The tickets include entry to the space centre on the day, bus transport out to the NASA causeway to watch the launch & a meal with several astronauts for a question & answer session afterwards.

The site you need to watch is

www.kennedyspacecenter.com/launches/scheduleStatus.asp

It gives details of upcoming flights & how to buy tickets.

You have to take note of the day tickets go on sale & be very quick off the mark.

They were sold out within 10 minutes of going on sale for the upcoming launch of Discovery.

Good Luck

when we watched Endeavour launch (I thought it was in 1999 but I think it might have actually been when we went back in Nov 2000) we got our tickets through Gator Tours and got the coach there and back...saved having to drive and try and get parked.

It was a nightime launch and it launched at 10.05pm - once back on the coach we didn't get out of KSC property untill 1-2am in the morning...so, even if you don't get tickets direct from KSC you should still be able to buy them through a tour operator once there - ours was just some guy selling them at the hotel desk...

We fly out 22nd April too. Not bothered if its delayed a day or too but would love to see a launch. We missed one last time we went by a couple of days as it was delayed.
