I have booked to go to DLP in February half term. Ds and dd don't know about it and don't plan on telling them till we get on the Eurostar in London. I was hoping that all those who have been to DLP before if they could give us some great tips. I guess it will be cold reading the other reports, so warm clothing needed.
We are going for 6 days, and have already booked a character breakfast.
Also planning one day in Paris.
Any advise or tips will be great.
Thank you
Julie :d:

We went to dlp in February 2006 and it was very cold. You will need thermals and LOTS of layers! We avoided the weekend and it was blissfully quiet: we stayed on a number of rides and were able to ride again and again.
I also remember warming up with some of their gorgeous hot chocolate: yum! I'll be trying that again in November!

HI we went to dlp in March this year and my kids 2,6,8 loved it.Just make sure you take lots of warm clothes as it was freezing although dry apart from one day.
The french we came across were pretty rude although its like anywhere you find rude and polite people anywhere.
Make sure you get fast passes for all popular rides and dont make the mistake i made and put in your ticket and recieve one.i didnt read mine properly and because i'd had already fast passed something else the ticket i recieved wasnt the time we could fast pass but the time we could get a fast pass ticket...does that make sence????
We also took bread rolls out of our hotel and ate them with things we had already brought with you and then bought our teas out.
I also took clingfilm, crisps sweets etc to make it slightly cheaper.
You wont need loads of clean clothes either as you need your coats on all the time hence no dirty tops from kids.make sure you take at least 2 warm coats in case one gets wet.
hope this helps if need any more info just contact me

Agree with everyone else here- it will be very very cold! The shops do a nice line in very thick character fleeces which saved my life last time I was there in February! Oh yes, and thick socks are a must.
Make sure you drink lots of warm drinks but other fluid as well, its dehydrating there, hot or cold! Oh and look out for the wind chill factor, it can be pretty strong.
Best places to escape are in the restaurants- if you can go to table service try blue lagoon as they do a nice looking kids menu and it is tropically heated, and also has the bonus of being able to look into Pirates of the Caribbean! If restaurants in parks are too busy go outside and try the village- they'll be hardly any queues at lunch (but it'll be manic in the evenings)
Otherwise have fun, you can't beat the magic of Disney, whatever the weather!
