Hi Denise

Thanks for posting, the photos are fab, i especially like the ones of Spaceship Earth without the wand and with the moon in the background.

I cant wait to get back and see SE without it, i prefered it.

Looking forward to more, enjoy Illuminations

Thanks! I may have to wait until tomorrow for whatever fireworks pics I did get (and anything else), my camera stopped working during it - we had 4 big rain deluges, and my camera wasn't happy about it (even though I kept protecting it!)

So whatever else I can get up, I will when I can. :) The fireworks were great, although the chunks of soot kept coming towards me!

Wonderful photos Denise, I felt quite emotional looking at them, but I am a big softy! ;) Hope your camera is OK, and looking forward to seeing the fireworks photos. :D

OMG!! The fireworks were really amazing. They did the normal illuminations, then straight after they did special fireworks in celebration.

They were excellent. I was a bit worried it wouldn't go ahead due to the rain but luckily it was ok. :thumbs-up

Coming home today, boo hoo!!

I don't know what Porthcawl fair is! But I'd love if London and Paris were a little closer. :)

We don't allow hotlinking, since it started using up so much bandwith - BUT, let me get that photo and I'll post it. :) That is really cool that they own it!

Oops sorry - that's fair enough. I think you had photos of 2 LPs and it was the 1st one

Loved looking at all the photos. Some lovely memories for me too from years gone by!

There are a lot of nice historical items there, more than what I took photos of. :)

I put the last 20 or so pics up too. Then my camera conked out.

Prthcawl is like a travelling fair ground but static (i.e naff!)

I had to look up what "naff" meant, I agree (I wouldn't want just a travelling style fair ground near me either!)

Thanks! It was a great day, but maybe not one to fly from England for (though the whole weekend was terrific, including the opening of the Food and Wine Festival!)
