Going for some Magic on December 8th & we have 14 day ultimate Disney pass.

Really hoping we will get to do Blizzard Beach but I am just wondering has anyone managed to get a day warm enough for waterparks in December. Also was the water very cold. :tinkani:

Yep, we've done waterparks in December. Just be a bit flexable and pick the day with the good weather. :thumbs-up

Yes we have done both BB in 2001 and TL in 2004. The water is like a bath it's heated. We are hoping to go to BB on Christmas Day :xmastree:

Oooh thanks for that. Will just go with the 1st warm day we get and if Xmas day is good it is a good possability.

Love the idea of the pool water being heated. That will even get hubby into the water.

the family raft ride (BB) at the end of december wasn't like a bath it was freezing. we were convinced they were getting into the spirit of the park and using melted snow! it is a bit heated but not a lot. wet and wild is the only park that is noticeably heated.

Did Blizzard Beach a few years back , just pick a day when the weathers good, the waters fine, although it can get a little chilly standing at the top of the slides / queues as you dry out

Temperatures ok for us Brits it is fantastic all the lifeguards were sitting in their top coats and we were walking round in bikinis. I would say Chrstmas is the best time to go to the water parks it may not be boiling hot but you get on everything really quickly. ;)

We went twice in December 04; we stayed for 23 nights and the weather was really chilly for all but 3 or 4 days.

We went to BB when it was really too cold to be comfortable but the upside was that the park was literally deserted. There were only a few cars in the car park and we saw very few people while we were there, which was nice as we felt a bit like celebs ;)

The customers definitely outnumbered the staff and we only heard British accents - we're made of sterner stuff than our US friends obviously ;)
