I am thinking about booking this but not sure if its just going to be a totally crowded mess that my teens (14 & 16) wont really care about or if it would still be great to see

any views from people who have been? re. crowds? do you actually manage to get the cookies & drinks? and what rides are open and what those quees are likely to average?

Mine really enjoyed it and although busy its not heaving at all.

We got cookies and hot chocolate, managed all the rides we wanted. I always go off season as i hate crowds so dont worry about that. The parade is wonderful. Pick a week night as well

They would probably find the shows a bit twee, but the parade is lovely and the couple of times we have been its never been THAT busy. Lots of people with little ones will leave after the 9pm Holiday Wishes, so if you hang around after that, most rides will be walk ons. Week nights, earlier in the month are the quietest and the best to pick if you intend to do rides.

Most teenagers today, at least my 15 year old, would love the night but hate to admit it just in case it spoilt their street cred !

Anyway I've gone and booked it for December 16th and we'll keep it a secret.

This year it starts 12th Nov, so probably around the same time next year. Thinking of booking for the 6th December for hubby's b'day, and my son will be 18 on Christmas Eve. He is severely autistic, and eats lives and breathes Disney, and Christmas, so think he will love it, especially the snow on Main Street. Just hope they're ready for an over excited 6' 5" Disney nut bouncing up and down Main Street! :d: That's my son btw, not my hubby! :d:

Going to Disney on 22nd December, not sure of transport to Disney parks from Holiday Inn on International Drive (Doing a non driving option) so don't yet know which day we will visit Magic Kingdom, do you have to book a long way in advance, also is it only on special days, does the park close to normal visitors early, not heard to this before sorry for all the daft questions.
